In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
One of the causes of embryo deformation in the womb:
A magnificent medical fact says that strong emotional and psychological stress and pressures that a pregnant woman undergoes during, or even before, pregnancy might lurk behind the abnormalities and deformations from which embryos suffer. This is because one of the causes of deformation of embryos is the emotional disorders and strong pressures that the mother undergoes during pregnancy.
It is no exaggeration to say that hundreds of medical studies confirm that psychological stress causes innumerable illnesses and diseases; and the only remedy for psychological stress is true Faith in Allah, Most Gracious, showing adequate obedience to Him, setting things right with Him, remembering Him, and turning to Him with sincere devotion. In other words, a true believer never suffers from any kind of psychological stress; and a chaste pure believing woman who is also dutiful to her husband is exempt from any kind of psychological stress.
Explanation and treatment of psychological pressure:
Scientists say that strong psychological pressures during pregnancy, such as loss of job, divorce, separation from husbands, as when they travel abroad for work and leave their families behind, and sadness upon someone’s death may quite often cause serious abnormalities and deformations of embryos, such as disfigured noses, harelips, cleaved throats, among other abnormalities and deformations, which scientists attribute to psychological stress, which, in turn, causes a rise in the ratio of sugar in the blood and deficiency of Oxygen in tissues, both of which cause deformations of embryos.
To wrap up, the link between psychological and physical aspects of man is really amazing. In other words, psychological health is conducive to both physical and spiritual health. The only remedy is to set things right with your Lord, Allah, All-Mighty, Most Gracious, to return to Him with sincere repentance and true Faith, to display adequate obedience to His Divine Commands, and to follow the perfect example of His Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad, (P277BUH), and his Sunna and Tradition.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of Creations
